| Services for Kenneth Anderson, age 52 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who died in Denver, Colorado December 5, 1993 will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 11 at First United Methodist Church in Blair with burial in the Blair Cemetery.
The family will meet with friends between 7 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, at the Funeral Home.
Kenneth D. Anderson was born January 4, 1941 at Audubon, Iowa, to H.L. and Elizabeth Petersen Anderson.
He attended elementary school in rural Audubon County, Iowa and graduated from Audubon High School in 1959. He graduated from Dana College in 1963, and worked as an admission counselor from 1963-1964. In 1964, he enrolled at Boston University, where he received his master degree in 1966. From 1966 to 1969, Ken was the director of development at Dana College.
In 1970 he joined Mutual of New York and was employed there until 1973 at which time he joined Principal Financial Group, as manager in the Omaha office. On September 1, 1988 he was transferred to the Michiana Agency, in Grand Rapids, Michigan as the agency manager.
He was a member of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, American Society of CLU & CHFC, GAMA, NALU and was past member of the Blair Lions Club.
He married Loretta Lynn (Lorrie) Sishc August 15, 1964.
He was preceded in death by his father, H.L. Anderson.
Surviving him in death are his wife, Lorrie; three sons, Jeffrey Dean, Camarillo, California and William Alan and Michael Jay, Grand Rapids, Michigan; a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and John Ross, Salt Lake City, Utah; his mother, Elizabeth Katherine Anderson, Audubon, Iowa; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane and Gloria Anderson, Westchester, Iowa and Donald and Lori Anderson, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Memorials may be directed to Dana College.
