Services For Mrs. Pounds Were Monday

Services for 70 year old Mrs. Jim (Thelma) Pounds were held on Monday, July 17th, at the Methodist Church in Blair. Mrs. Pounds died on Friday, July 14th, of an apparent heart attack while at the Blair Hospital.

The 2 p.m. services were conducted by Rev. Gordon Patterson with burial at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pounds was born on October 20th, 1907, at Tekamah, Nebraska. She was married to James W. Pounds who resides at 594 So. 16th, in Blair and survives her.

Mrs. Pounds is also survived by two daughters and a son. They are: James D. Pounds, of Blair; Mrs. Frank (Sue) Reyzlik of Blair, and Mrs. Fred (Sally) Lau of Millard.

Other survivors include a brothers, a sister, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The brother is Russell Leonard of Elkhorn. The sister is Helen Mullally of Blair.

Mrs. Pound has been a housewife and employee at the Blair Ben Franklin store for a number of years.

Pallbearers were: Jim Pounds, Bob Pounds, Jon Pounds, Jim Reyzlik, Ron Reyzlik and Ron Newell.
