Alfred Quist Dies At Age Of 80 Years

Services for Alfred S. Quist will be held on Friday, December 8th at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. The 11 a.m. service will be officiated by Rev. John Petersen with the Campbell Funeral Home in charge of burial at the Blair Cemetery.

Prayer services will be held for relatives and friends on Thursday evening. The prayer service will be at 8 p.m. in the Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Quist died at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital on Tuesday, December 5th.

Alfred S. Quist was born at DeSoto, Nebraska, on June 7, 1898. He married the former Clara Anderson. The couple farmed and lived on Route 1, Blair.

Alfred Quist is survived by his wife Clara, of Blair; daughter, Mrs. Gus (LaVonne) Rolland, Blair; son Quentin Quist, Blair; son Dr. Arvin Quist, Oak Ridge, Tenn,; and son Darvid Quist of Blair. He had ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Surviving brothers are Ed Quist, of Blair, and Hjalmer Quist of Blair.
