Walter T. Kelley, 82, of Blair died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 18, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct 19, at the Blair Cemetery.

Walter T. Kelley was born June 24, 1925, in Blair to John and Carrie (Sisson) Kelley. He attended Blair High School and in September of 1943, he entered the U.S. Army, serving until Nov. 24, 1945.

On August 3, 1946, he married Marian Miller in Hiawatha, Kan.

Mr. Kelley was a heavy equipment operator for Van Duesen Construction and Kelly Ryan Manufacturing and also did mechanical work for Vinton Motors. He was a member of the Blair VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; son and daughter-in-la, Thomas and Nancy Kelley of Blair; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services 11 AM Thursday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be 10 AM Friday in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will begin 2 PM Wednesday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
