Bernice Compton, 89 of Tekamah died Monday, March 5, 2001, at the Tekamah Nursing Center.

Bernice Compton was born March 12, 1911 in Washington County to Berea and Pearl Compton. She has resided for years in the Tekamah Nursing Center.

She is survived by two cousins, Lonnie Kae Mackie and Tom Tucker.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
