Mrs. Fischer Dies At Age of 64

Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Fischer, 64 years of age, who died at a clinic in Fremont Monday following a heart attack.

Services will be held at 2:06 o’clock at the First Lutheran Church, the Rev. Harold C. Jorgensen officiating with interment in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Fischer was born February 3, 1894 at St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her husband, Ernest, six sons, Benjamin and Louis of Blair, Eugene and Harold of Arlington, Robert of Fremont and Donald Fischer of Okinawa, who is enroute to Blair for the funeral.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

FISCHER SERVICES TO BE SATURDAY

BLAIR - - Services for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Fischer, 64, long-time Blair resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Harold C. Jorgensen will officiate. Mrs. Fischer died Tuesday at Fremont.

She was born Feb. 3, 1894 and was married March 5, 1913 to Ernest Fischer who survives.

Other survivors are sons, Robert of Fremont; Ernest, Louis, and Benjamin of Blair; Donald of Okinawa; and Eugene and Howard of Arlington.

Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

MRS. ERNEST FISCHER, nee Anna Elizabeth Scholl, was born February 3, 1894 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was married to Ernest Fischer on March 5, 1913, the couple making their home on a farm in the Brainard School District until March 14, 1956, when they moved to Blair. Mrs. Fischer passed away suddenly in Fremont, Nebraska, on December 29, while on a shopping trip. The funeral service was held in the church on January 4, 1959, with interment in Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Fischer is survived by her husband; by six sons, Robert of Fremont, Nebraska; Donald of Naha, Okinawa; Eugene of Arlington, Nebraska; Benjamin of Blair; Howard of Arlington; and Louis of Blair; and by six grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death.
