Joan E. (Jones) Kelley, 77

Joan E. (Jones) Kelley age 77 of Blair, died July 2, 2015 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 10:30AM at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial will follow services in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday July 6 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Joan E. (Jones) Kelley was born on June 20, 1938 in Mobile, Alabama to Earl and Edith Sieglar. She graduated from high school in Little Rock, Arkansas. After high school she attended nursing school in Little Rock. Joan married Herbert Jones Jr. And the couple moved to Blair. Herbert preceded Joan in death in 1982. She married Robert “Pat” Kelley in 1990, he preceded her in death in 1994. Joan worked as a nurse at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair and retired from there.

Joan was a very competitive person. It didn’t matter if it was Texas Hold 'Em or Scrabble, she always played to win. She loved to travel and was always looking for an adventure.

Joan is survived by her children: son Herbert “Les” (Brenda) Jones of Johnstown, Colorado, son Kevin Jones of Nebraska, daughter, Debra (Sergio) Lareza of Stafford, Virginia; grandchildren: Christopher (Jen) Sikich, Kyle Lareza, Ryan Lareza and Samantha Jones; great-grandchildren: Sierra and Taylor Sikich, and Isabelle, John Ryan and Karina Lareza; and her husband Robert “Pat” Kelley’s children: Debbie, Bob, Bill (Angie), Kitt, Matt, Mark, John and Patricia.
