MRS. ED HOVENDICK DIED AT HOSPITAL TUESDAY, MARCH 14

Mrs. Amelia (Ed) Hovendick, of Herman, died Tuesday at the Blair Hospital. She was 79 years of age, having been born August 27, 1892.

She spent her entire life in the Herman area. She was married to Ed Hovendick and the couple spent their entire lives as farmers in the Herman area.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Hovendick and by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Clyde Fitch, of Omaha and William Fitch of Herman. The daughters are Mrs. Leonard Beard of Uehling, Nebraska and Mrs. Don Holstein of Alta, Iowa. There are seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are being held this (Thursday) afternoon at the Herman Methodist Church with the Rev. Zack Kleinsasser conducting the service. Burial was made in the Herman Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair.

Pallbearers were Leon, Geary and Marshall Beard, Glen and Earl Miller and William Papke.

Honorary pallbearers were Steven Fitch and Geoffrey Holstein.
