Robert E. Rosterman, 80, of Chicago, Ill., died June 30, 2011, in Atlanta, Ga., after suffering a massive heart attack on June 14. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, at Blair Cemetery.

Robert "Bob" E. Rosterman was born March 30, 1931, in Blair to immigrant parents Henry and Christina (Hansen) Rosterman. He graduated from Blair High School and moved to Chicago in the early 1950s where he was employed by Paramount and later MGM/UA Studios.

He was a classic movie historian and writer, and had many wonderful friends in the movie industry and theatre. His favorite film was his beloved "Gone With the Wind." He had just attended the weekend festivities in Atlanta for the 75th Anniversary of the publication of "GWTW" and became ill before he could return to Chicago.

He is survived by sisters, Goldie Fleury of Lake Charles, La., and Ruth Schoeman of Atlanta, Ga., and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Norma Jean, Harry, Donald, Carrie, Rose, Arnold and Helen.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
