#2-Published in The Tribune January 17, 1918

The five-weeks-old child of Mr. and J. Pounds died in Omaha early Saturday morning and was laid away in the Blair Cemetery Saturday. Since birth the little fellow had been ailing, and regardless of everything that was done, and everything that specialists could do, his condition continued to grow worse until as a last resort the little fellow was taken to Omaha and operated on. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of a host of friends in their bereavement.
