Services for Pearl Brodersen, 65 of Tekamah who died January 16, 1993 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha will be Wednesday, January 20 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah. Rev. Brian Maas will officiate. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home and one hour before the service at the church.

There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pearl A. Brodersen was born at rural Winslow, Nebraska February 7, 1927 to Ernest and Emma Lang. Soon after her birth the family moved 1 1/2 miles south of Herman. She attended Herman School and graduated from high school in 1944.

She married Bob Brodersen May 23, 1948. They had farmed in the Tekamah/Herman area for the past 44 years.

She was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah, her extension club and Herman American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Jennifer Brodersen Uhing.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kathy Larsen Brodersen of Tekamah; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Bernie Clements of Herman, Sara and Steve Cameron of Lyons; grandchildren, Heidi Brummond of Tekamah; Eric Clements, St. Louis, Missouri; Adam Clements of Herman; Chad Brodersen of Omaha; Allison and Emily Brodersen of Tekamah; Sam Cameron, Megan Cameron, Luke Cameron, Thomas Cameron and Kristen Cameron, all of Lyons; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Brummond and Jordan Brummond, both of Tekamah; sisters, Katherine Husk Schuette of Hooper, Selma Haig of Payson, Arizona; Elva Hansen of Blair, Helen Lang of Good Shepherd Home in Blair and Fern Krohn of Herman and brothers, Harold Lang and Don Lang of Blair and Neil Lang of Arlington.

Hamel-Peck-Pelan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
