Graveside services for Mildred I. Brunton, 81 who died February 15, 1993 in Lincoln were held Thursday, February 18 at the Herman Cemetery. Rev. Mark Richardson officiated at the service.

Mildred I. Brunton was born August 2, 1911 at Herman. She graduated from Herman High School in 1928 and following her college graduation she taught school for several years.

During World War II she worked with Army Social Clubs. She retired after 20 years of service, making her home in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Viola E. Souder Brunton; four sisters, Muriel Bring, Sylvia Brunton, Lois Sabalka and Edith McMahon and two brothers, Stan and Henry.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Norma (Mrs. Stan) Brunton and numerous nieces and nephews.
