GEORGIA C. RASMUSSEN

Last Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 o’clock occurred the sad death of Georgia Charlotte, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rasmussen of Spiker. She had been ailing for some time when suddenly pneumonia set in, and despite excellent medical skill and the services of a good nurse, there was apparently no hope. In a last effort to rescue her life, she was rushed to the hospital, but died underway.

Georgia was born Feb. 22, 1922 in Blair. While still an infant she entered the Kingdom of God through the Holy Sacrament of Baptism Sept., 17, 1922. She was a member of the Orum Sunday School, and delighted in the Bible stories and her Sunday School paper.

Georgia was a lovable child, a bright pupil in school, and a girl of good deportment.

She leaves to mourn her sudden passing her parents, her brother, Void, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home last Friday afternoon. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery. Rev. Hans C. Jersild officiated, and the Dana College quartette furnished the music.
