JOHN A. SPANGLER PASSES AWAY

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon in Arlington for John A Spangler, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. A. Menking on January 15th. The Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen conducted the services at the Methodist church which were preceded by a brief service at the Menking home.

A quartette composed of Mrs. Alvin Anderson, Mrs. Geo. Schoettger, Allen Laaker and Sterling Plugge, sang “Sweet Beulah Land”, “We Are Going Down the Alley” and “There’ll Be No Disappointment in Heaven”. Pallbearers were Chet Heuerman, Lawrence Hall, J. B. Hall, Ed Nonnamaker, Tom Dowell and Lawrence Echtenkamp.
