Frank E. Rahlfs was born July 22, 1877 on a farm north of Arlington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rahlfs, both having preceded their son in death. Mr. Rahlfs has lived on a farm near Arlington all of his life until about eight years ago when he retired and moved to town to make his home. Mr. Rahlfs has been in poor health for the past couple of years and never rallied from a stroke suffered over a week ago, and passed away quietly at the Dodge County Community hospital on Saturday evening. He was a member of the Modern Woodman. A brother preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Methodist church with Rev. Henry Kleinert officiating. Burial was in the family lot in Blair Cemetery. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. J. W. Holstein of Tracy, Minn., and a brother, Richard of Berwick, No. Dakota, and several nieces and nephews. Services are in charge of the Reckmeyer and Son Funeral Home.
