Dies At Arlington

Aged Washington County Resident Expires on Monday

Fred Mansfield, 66, a resident of Arlington, died Monday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Crink. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church here, following brief services at the Crink residence.

Mr. Mansfield was born in Mansfield, Iowa, and came to the Arlington community with his parents as a child. He lived there all his life, until eight years ago when he retired from active life and moved to California.

He had been in poor health for the past year, and returned to Arlington three weeks ago, being bedfast since that time.

Three children survive him, they being: Mrs. Lydia Moore of Omaha, Mrs. John Crink of Elk City and Albert Mansfield of Arlington. A sister, Mrs. Jennie Glober, of Long Beach, Calif., also survives.
