Died

On Tuesday night, Aug. 1, 1893, after an illness of only a few hours, Mrs. Fred Mansfield, aged about 34 years. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss. The deceased was a consistent member of the M.E. church, and lived a devoted Christian. The loss will be greatly felt in the church, as she was always on hand and a willing worker. Her funeral was held at the church on Thursday afternoon, and after a sermon by Rev. Cocking assisted by Rev. Kriege, her remains were followed to the Arlington cemetery, where they were laid away to await the resurrection.
