#1-12 Aug., 1908 - The Pilot - Harold Jens Hoier and Edith Brunton

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hoier, who live out near Kennard, lost a little boy about a year old last Thursday from scalding. The little fellow pulled the plug out of a washing machine, and the hot suds scalded him so that death occurred that same night. The funeral was held at the home at 10 o’clock Saturday, Rev. A. M. Anderson officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery. On the same day Mr. and Mrs. Herb Brunton lost a little girl, Edith, aged 3 years., 4 months and 17 days of dropsy of the heart. Rev. Warne conducted the funeral at the Kennard M.E. church Saturday at 10:30, and interment made in the Kennard cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Herb Brunton lost a little girl, *Edith, age 3 yrs. 4 months and 17 days, of dropsy of the heart. Rev Warne conducted the funeral at the Kennard M.E. Church Saturday at 10:30 and interment made in the Kennard Cemetery.
